Legacy of the Horizon is a browser-based living galaxy platform for tabletop RPG. It is not a virtual tabletop. It is not a PDF with a character builder bolted on. It is a single-surface, canvas-rendered 2.5D/3D galaxy map where the entire game lives — characters, campaigns, factions, economies, starships, guided adventures, real-time session play, and 420,000+ words of original science fiction lore built over eleven years.
The galaxy runs on a deterministic faction engine — no dice at the macro layer. Factions move based on state, not randomness. Players influence the galaxy through play. Galaxy Masters curate outcomes. The economy breathes with galactic conditions. Starships refit in real time. Campaigns fork into parallel timelines. Fog-of-Lore and Fog-of-Exploration restore genuine discovery to digital tables. Guided modules write directly into campaign canon. Everything happens on one screen.
