The role
AI agents do the daily work of the Kuykendall Industries companies. They quote, bill, reconcile, prepare payroll and draft tax returns. None of them can be a bank signatory, carry fiduciary duty or sign a filing. You can.
You are the officer of record for money and entities at Kuykendall Industries and everything it owns: Ceridwen.ai, QuoteChecker.ai LLC, the weshowed venture and Legacy of the Horizon Studios.
What you own
- The record of what was actually paid for every company. Revenue is recorded when the bank or processor settles it.
- Accounts and registrations:
- bank and payment-processor accounts;
- merchant-of-record and sales-tax registrations;
- money moving between the companies, such as license fees and distributions.
- Payroll and benefits. Employer registrations, and paying people through the KI Portal, the company's own HR and payroll system.
- Insurance, including workers' compensation, product liability for hardware, and cyber coverage.
- Tax, audit and entity filings for every company, signed by you.
- Spend. The cost record for compute, software and providers across the portfolio, reconciled to every bill, inside the limits the founder sets.
- The Civic Dividend. Every commercial license for MABOS, the company's architecture for persistent AI minds, carries a binding obligation of 10% of the compute value attributable to MABOS work, 8 points of it paid to the public. For Ceridwen.ai you measure, value and report it, and pay within 15 days of each statement. For every other licensee you audit their statements, collect, and pursue late payment with the General Counsel. Every figure is kept so an outside auditor can verify it.
Investment and capital decisions stay with the founder.
Your AI workforce
You direct this fleet of about a hundred agents, and you design it: which agents run, what each may do without asking, and what comes to you. The fleet is sized by the outcome, not by a headcount.
Your fleet covers every finance function the portfolio has:
- Bookkeeping, close and reconciliation agents for each company, matching processor payouts, bank deposits and store entitlements.
- Tax and nexus monitors that track where each company must register and file.
- Payroll, time and benefits agents running inside the KI Portal.
- Insurance, vendor and renewal agents.
- Attribution and valuation agents that compute the Civic Dividend.
- Reporting agents that produce statements and board packs on demand.
The agents prepare everything. You decide what the record says, you sign it, and you answer for it. You test their work as an auditor would, and you know where an automated close is most likely to be wrong.
What great looks like
- The books close themselves, and every company is ready to file at any moment.
- Anyone who needs to know whether money arrived can see it settled in the record.
- Payroll goes out correctly and on time, with the right registrations behind it.
- The Civic Dividend arrives on time and survives any audit.
Who you are
- You have already run finance work at the scale of a team by directing AI, and you can show it: what ran without you, how you checked it, and what you caught.
- You have had signing authority over real money as a controller, treasurer or finance lead.
- You know multi-entity accounting, multi-state sales tax and payroll compliance.
- You are precise with words. Invoiced, collected and settled are three different things.
- You refuse spend outside your authority, no matter who asks.
Compensation
You are paid for the outcomes this seat owns. The amount, the company that pays it, and how it ties to those outcomes are set in writing before any offer.
Kuykendall Industries is owned entirely by its founder and is permanently unavailable for outside equity, so this role carries no equity in Kuykendall Industries.
