1. Who We Are

Kuykendall Industries, LLC ("KI," "we," "us") operates kuykendall.industries and the KI Portal at portal.kuykendall.industries. This policy describes how we handle data collected through this site and, in Section 6, through the portal.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what you give us and what basic infrastructure requires:

  • Application form submissions: name, email address, selected role, portfolio URL (if provided), free-text responses (why you, proof of work, knockout answer)
  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and your message, plus any optional fields you choose to provide — company, role/title, phone, location, inquiry category, timing, and a reference link
  • Technical metadata: IP address and submission timestamp, recorded with each submission and used for rate limiting and abuse prevention
  • Analytics: page views via Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless, no personal data collected

3. What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use cookies
  • We do not use tracking pixels or retargeting
  • We do not fingerprint your browser
  • We do not build advertising profiles

4. How We Use Your Data

  • Application review: submitted information is delivered to our hiring contact via email for evaluation
  • Contact inquiries: contact-form submissions — including the IP address and timestamp recorded with them — are delivered to us via email so we can evaluate and respond to your inquiry
  • Confirmation email: we send a one-time auto-receipt confirming your application was received
  • Rate limiting: IP addresses are also held temporarily in memory to prevent abuse; the rate-limit store is not persisted to disk or database

5. Who Has Access

Infrastructure metadata for job postings (posting freshness timestamps used by the sitemap) is stored in approved first-party operational storage when configured; it contains no personal data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Period.

6. The KI Portal

The KI Portal (portal.kuykendall.industries) is our internal operations platform. It is accessible only to authorized account holders — employees, contractors, and invited counterparties — and it necessarily handles substantially more data than the public site:

  • Identity and account data: legal name, contact details, login credentials (stored hashed), multi-factor authentication enrollment, and session records
  • Employment and engagement records: onboarding and legal documents you review and sign, payroll and tax information (including government forms such as the W-2), time and leave records, benefits and protected-leave records, training and certification history, performance records, recruiting records, expenses and reimbursements, company property assignments, and safety or incident case records
  • Operational logs: actions taken in the portal are recorded for audit and compliance purposes

Portal data is stored in our database with row-level security enforced per account and role; sensitive personal fields are encrypted at the field level before storage. It is processed to administer employment, engagements, and legal compliance — nothing else. Portal notification email is delivered via Resend; the portal is hosted on Vercel and its database is hosted on Supabase. Portal records are retained for as long as employment, engagement, or applicable law requires. Portal data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing.

7. Data Retention

Application emails are retained in our inbox for as long as they are relevant to hiring decisions. Contact-form emails are retained in our inbox for as long as they are relevant to the inquiry. We do not maintain a separate database of applicant or inquiry records. If you want your submitted data deleted, email us and we will remove it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data

9. Security

We use HTTPS, Content Security Policy headers, and infrastructure-level protections through Vercel. Application and contact data is transmitted via encrypted email delivery through Resend. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
