Module / Adventure Designer

The Role

The Quantum Trilogy is the flagship guided module. More will follow. You design and write adventures that embed directly into the galaxy map — scene-by-scene navigation, branching choices, integrated dice triggers, rule references, faction state impacts, and narration cues. These aren't PDFs. They're living adventures that write themselves into campaign canon.

What You'll Do

• Design and write guided modules that integrate with the LoTH platform — scenes, branches, triggers, and GM commentary
• Author the Quantum Trilogy and subsequent official adventures
• Create branch logic that produces meaningfully different outcomes based on player choices
• Write GM commentary sidebars — discreet guidance for pacing, tone, and common stalls
• Design module hooks that interact with faction state, economy, and galaxy-level systems
• Ensure modules work as both structured guidance for new GMs and flexible spines for experienced ones

Requirements

• 5+ years writing published adventures, modules, or interactive narrative content
• Shipped tabletop work. Published modules, campaign books, or organized play content
• Branching narrative design and choice-consequence mapping
• GM workflow understanding. You know what a GM needs at the table and what gets in their way
• You've run your own adventures at a table and watched where players stumble, disengage, or light up

Compensation

All positions include equity in Kuykendall Industries. Salaries are TBD and will be determined based on role scope, experience, and what you bring to the table — literally and figuratively.
