Legacy of the Horizon
Growth & Marketing Lead
Full-Time | Remote (US) | Equity + Salary Upon Revenue
The Role
Legacy of the Horizon is launching as a silent drop. No ad budget. No publisher. No PR agency. You turn a moment of internet discovery into sustained, organic growth — influencer partnerships, creator codes, affiliate programs, content strategy, and the kind of grassroots momentum that makes a TTRPG platform spread table by table.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the growth strategy for LoTH's silent-drop launch and beyond
- Identify, recruit, and manage influencer and creator partnerships — actual-play streams, TTRPG reviewers, DIY/sci-fi adjacent creators
- Build and manage the affiliate and referral tracking systems
- Distribute influencer access codes and creator press keys
- Develop content strategy — social media, blog, newsletter, community highlights
- Analyze conversion funnels from landing page through purchase through campaign creation
Requirements
- 3+ years in gaming marketing, creator partnerships, or community-driven growth
- Creator network. Documented experience with content creators and influencers in gaming or TTRPG
- TTRPG cultural literacy. You know the difference between a D&D audience and an indie RPG audience
- Zero-budget growth. Ability to grow from zero without traditional ad spend
- You've launched something into a community and watched it spread, and you can show us the numbers
Compensation
All positions include equity in Kuykendall Industries. Salaries are TBD and will be determined based on role scope, experience, and what you bring to the table — literally and figuratively.
The Builder Clause
We don't care where you went to school. We don't care if you went to school. Our founder is self-taught, started coding at 13, and built a 602,000-line cognitive architecture and a 420,000-word universe without a CS degree or a creative writing MFA.
Meet the qualifications, or show us what you've built. Either path works. Both paths demand excellence.
