Full-Stack Engineer

The Role

You work across the entire platform — frontend UI panels, backend endpoints, integration glue, and whatever else needs building. Character creation flows, GM dashboards, storefront checkout, document hub, analytics, the customer self-service dashboard. You're the person who sees a gap between the canvas and the backend and fills it before anyone asks.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain platform features across frontend and backend — character/starship builders, GM tools, storefront, account management
• Implement the tier and entitlement system — Citizen, Adventurer, Galaxy Master, Galaxy Master Pro
• Build the guided module framework — scene navigation, branch logic, auto-logging, rule references, dice triggers
• Develop the player portal — character sheets, starship sheets, cloud save management, journals, share codes
• Integrate Stripe checkout, PDF stamping, book-buyer code activation, and gift purchases
• Build analytics and telemetry pipelines for internal dashboards and public anonymized leaderboards

Requirements

• 3+ years full-stack development with production web application experience
• Comfort with TypeScript, React (for UI panels), Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Subscription billing experience. Entitlement systems or SaaS platforms
• End-to-end ownership. You ship complete features without waiting for someone else to wire the other half
• You've owned features that users interact with every session and you've iterated based on how they actually used them

Compensation

All positions include equity in Kuykendall Industries. Salaries are TBD and will be determined based on role scope, experience, and what you bring to the table — literally and figuratively.
