Kuykendall Industries
Operations Manager
Full-Time | Remote (US) | Equity + Salary Upon Revenue
The Role
You own the day-to-day operational machinery of Kuykendall Industries. Finance, vendors, facilities, compliance, procurement — the systems that keep a multi-venture organization running while the founder and Chief of Staff focus on strategy and execution.
This is not a role where you report on what happened. You make things happen. You build the processes, manage the relationships, and keep the gears turning across every entity in the ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations — bookkeeping, invoicing, expense tracking, vendor payments, and budget forecasting across all KI entities
- Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, renewals, and negotiations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal business requirements across all active ventures
- Maintain and improve operational tooling — project management, internal documentation, communication systems
- Coordinate with legal and accounting partners on filings, contracts, and regulatory matters
- Support the Chief of Staff with cross-venture logistics and execution tracking
Requirements
- 5+ years in business operations, office management, or operational support roles
- Financial literacy. You can manage a P&L, track burn rate, and flag discrepancies without being told to look
- Process builder. You don't just follow processes — you create them where none exist
- Multi-entity comfort. Experience managing operations across multiple business units or subsidiaries preferred
- Self-directed. No one is going to check your work daily. You own your domain
Compensation
Equity in Kuykendall Industries and salary upon revenue. No salary today. This is a bootstrapped company. The founder has been building everything without funding, without a team, and without a paycheck from this entity. You enter that same environment.
Who this works for: Someone with savings, consulting income, or another reason they can afford to work for equity in the near term. Someone who looks at the scope of what's been built, understands the commercial potential, and makes a calculated bet.
Who this does not work for: Someone who needs a paycheck on day one. Someone who treats equity as a consolation prize. No judgment — but don't waste your time or ours.
The Builder Clause
We don't care where you went to school. We don't care if you went to school. Our founder is self-taught, started coding at 13, and built a 602,000-line cognitive architecture without a CS degree.
Meet the qualifications, or show us what you've built. Either path works. Both paths demand excellence.
