Ceridwen.ai
Systems Engineer
Full-Time | Remote (US) | Equity + Salary Upon Revenue
The Role
You work at the metal layer. GPU clusters, memory hierarchies, storage systems, compute scheduling. MABOS has specific hardware requirements — split-horizon GPU/CPU execution, 24GB VRAM budgets, 128GB RAM ceilings for local deployment. You make the architecture sing on real silicon.
What You'll Do
- Design and optimize systems for MABOS execution across GPU and CPU
- Build and maintain GPU compute clusters for MABOS Cloud
- Optimize memory management for cognitive sessions that persist across time
- Develop hardware compatibility matrices for MABOS Local and MABOS-MINI
- Profile and eliminate system-level bottlenecks
Requirements
- 7+ years in systems engineering with deep hardware-software integration experience
- GPU architecture expertise. Memory hierarchies and compute scheduling
- AMD GPU ecosystem (ROCm) strongly preferred
- Linux kernel-level understanding — you read dmesg for fun
- Rust or C required
Compensation
All positions include equity in Ceridwen.ai. Salaries are TBD and will be determined based on role scope, experience, and what you bring to the table. We will not insult you with a lowball offer, and we expect you not to waste our time with inflated expectations disconnected from contribution.
The Builder Clause
We don't care where you went to school. We don't care if you went to school. Our founder is self-taught, started coding at 13, and built a 602,000-line cognitive architecture without a CS degree.
Meet the qualifications, or show us what you've built. Either path works. Both paths demand excellence.
