Ceridwen.ai

Robotics / FSD Engineer

Full-Time  |  Remote (US)  |  Equity + Salary Upon Revenue

The Role

Another gated subsystem. Another domain where “move fast and break things” gets people killed. You build robotic control systems and autonomous driving capabilities that are safe enough to gate behind hardware and governance requirements rather than hide behind terms of service.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement robotics and autonomous driving subsystems within MABOS
  • Build real-time control systems that operate within strict safety envelopes
  • Develop sensor fusion pipelines for multi-modal environmental perception
  • Implement and validate safety-critical decision-making under uncertainty
  • Integrate robotics/FSD subsystems with MABOS cognitive architecture for unified reasoning

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in robotics, controls, autonomous systems, or adjacent field
  • 5+ years building real-time robotic or autonomous systems that operate in the physical world
  • Deep expertise in control theory, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, or perception
  • Safety-critical systems and formal verification methods
  • Rust or C++ required. Real-time systems experience required
  • You’ve put code into something that moves in the real world and you’ve felt the weight of that responsibility

Compensation

All positions include equity in Ceridwen.ai. Salaries are TBD and will be determined based on role scope, experience, and what you bring to the table. We will not insult you with a lowball offer, and we expect you not to waste our time with inflated expectations disconnected from contribution.

The Builder Clause

We don't care where you went to school. We don't care if you went to school. Our founder is self-taught, started coding at 13, and built a 602,000-line cognitive architecture without a CS degree.

Meet the qualifications, or show us what you've built. Either path works. Both paths demand excellence.
