PM — Companion Experience

The Role

The MABOS companion is not a chatbot. It is a persistent, locally-sovereign AI that remembers, learns, and grows alongside its user. You own what that relationship feels like day after day, month after month, year after year.

What You'll Do

• Define the companion experience across onboarding, daily interaction, memory, and long-term relationship
• Design features that deepen the companion relationship without exploiting it
• Work with research to translate cognitive capabilities into user-facing experiences
• Gather and synthesize user feedback to inform companion development
• Ensure the companion experience is consistent across Local, Cloud, and MINI deployments

Requirements

• 5+ years in product management for consumer-facing AI or social products
• User empathy. A framework for distinguishing engagement from wellbeing
• Persistent state experience. Products with long-term user relationships
• Privacy-first design — the companion knows everything about its user and none of that data leaves their device
• You’ve thought about what it means for people to have relationships with AI and you have a nuanced position

Compensation

All positions include equity in Ceridwen.ai. Salaries are TBD and will be determined based on role scope, experience, and what you bring to the table. We will not insult you with a lowball offer, and we expect you not to waste our time with inflated expectations disconnected from contribution.
