Internal operating system — Kuykendall Industries’ administrative software

KI Portal

Internal production system

The holding company’s own operating system — HR, payroll, compliance, safety — built in-house.

What It Is

KI Portal is the internal system Kuykendall Industries runs itself on: regulated document handling, onboarding, training and compliance, payroll and time, benefits and protected leave, performance, recruiting, expenses, and safety case management — one platform, built in-house to the same engineering standard as the rest of the fleet.

Why It Exists

A company whose thesis is sovereign infrastructure does not run its own operations on someone else’s SaaS. KI Portal is the thesis applied to ourselves — and the internal proving ground for the domain FORGE commercializes.

What Exists Today

  • 504 backend routes and 80 frontend routes across 17 operational domains
  • 445 typed API-client methods, 243 database migrations, 536 row-level-security-enabled tables
  • 2,720 tests, with a production proof packet maintained in-repo
  • Domains include a nationwide W-2 form engine, regulated-document workflows, payroll/time/leave, benefits and protected leave, recruiting, expenses, and safety claims

Current Operational Boundary

Internal production system

Internal production — it runs the company. The sovereign commercialization path for what it proves is FORGE.

Position in the Ecosystem

  • Row-level-security-enforced Postgres; the same security posture as the public fleet
  • Forward-compatibility contract with FORGE
